A VR project showcasing young people's perspectives on their local area, heritage, and identities in Bilsthorpe. Created entirely from their own artwork, the experience is the result of a series of creative workshops supported by Open Doors.

Samantha visited Bilsthorpe youth group to work a group of young people, delivering a series of creative workshops to explore their perspectives on Newark. They expressed their thoughts and ideas about their village through activities such as printing, zine making, and collaging. These creative explorations became the foundation for planning a VR experience, allowing the young people to shape and develop their vision further.

During the project the young people had the opportunity to learn how to draw in VR using Open Brush, allowing them to explore their creativity in a fully immersive 360-degree space.
